Lost Valley Ski to move into the wild world of water slides
The Lost Valley Ski Area in Auburn is expanding into the world of water slides and inflatable amusements this summer with the addition of an outdoor water park known as Adventure Park, as its owners are setting their sights on making the resort a year-round destination.
The Sun Journal reported that the park will feature nine inflatable water slides, a dual climbing wall and a Euro-bungee jump device as part of the Adventure Park plans.
"We are trying to create a place that people think about coming to for fun family times all year round," Tad Bettcher, the resort's group sales and marketing director, told the Sun Journal.
The grand opening for the water park is slated for June 20, but a series of preview days will start on June 16.
