Grants from the foundation's Maine Charity Foundation Fund and from donors with advised funds at Maine Community Foundation will support a range of projects, including volunteer transportation programs and food delivery services across the state.

Black Owned Maine will receive $10,000 to provide newly arrived immigrants transportation to their asylum hearings, while People Plus in Brunswick will receive $10,000 to sustain and expand its Volunteer Transportation Network. People Plus provides transportation and delivery services for older residents.

The Maine Charity Foundation was established in 1921 and transferred to Maine Community Fund in 1993. The fund supports charitable and educational projects within the state.
