Mainebiz will host its annual Health Care Forum on Wednesday, June 5, from 7:30-10:30 a.m.
The venue will be the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport.
This year's topic will address the challenges business face in navigating health care for older adults.
Topics will include:
- Understanding the diverse care needs of older adults
- Strategies for maintaining health and quality of life
- Improving access to health care services
- Reducing healthcare costs through innovative approaches
- Exploring resources available in Maine for older adult care
The panel will be moderated by Megan Walton, CEO of Southern Maine Agency on Aging.
Panelists will be Daryl Cady, CEO of Hospice of Southern Maine; Heidi Wierman, division director for geriatrics at Maine Medical Center and medical director for healthy aging at MaineHealth; Suzanne Moreshead, VP of finance, operations and strategy at Northern Light Home Care; and Theresa Goodman, executive director of Medicare and retirement at United Healthcare.
