Malone Commercial Brokers, a commercial real estate firm in Portland, has hired Alexia Fornaro as an operations assistant.
Fornaro will be responsible for greeting visitors, staffing phones, data entry and keeping the office organized and running smoothly.
“I have an insatiable desire to learn and grow. I’m interested in learning more about commercial real estate and MCB seems like the perfect place to put down roots,” said Fornaro.
Fornaro has a background in early-childhood special education. She previously worked as an education technician and behavioral health professional. She was responsible for communication, classroom management, data tracking and organization in those positions.
Malone Commercial Brokers said that Fornaro’s academic and professional journey reflects her commitment to excellence and versatility, while her organizational expertise and ability to manage complex situations will help ensure efficient operations.
“I’m looking forward to developing my skills in a long career with MCB,” said Fornaro. “I love meeting people and I love organization, so it's the best of both worlds here.”
Fornaro received her bachelor’s degree in early-childhood special education from the University of Maine at Farmington. She also has a background in financial administration at a global corporation.
