Portland law firm Murray Plumb & Murray has added attorneys Justin S. Clark and Kristin Hebert-Grande to its employment law and estate planning practices.
Clark joins the firm in an of counsel position. He brings over a decade of experience in employment law, representing employees in high-profile cases involving job discrimination, retaliation and unpaid wages.
The firm said he has negotiated hundreds of severance and settlement agreements for his clients and has obtained multiple six-figure or seven-figure jury verdicts in his previous roles.
Before joining Murray Plumb & Murray, Clark had experience through internships with the attorneys general offices in Maine and New Hampshire. He also worked for 12 years as a lawyer with a boutique employment litigation firm in New York.
Clark was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in New York from 2017 to 2023. He received his bachelor's degree from Colby College and his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law.
Hebert-Grande joins the firm as an associate. During law school, she completed the Rural Law Fellowship at Camden Law, where she focused on estate planning and administration.
Her practice areas include business and corporate law, family law, real estate and real estate finance, and trust and estate planning and administration.
Prior to law school, Hebert-Grande worked in philanthropy at Maine Initiatives, a community-based foundation supporting social, economic and environmental justice in Maine. She received her bachelor's degree from Smith College and recently received her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law.
"Their unique perspectives and impressive credentials align with our commitment to providing exceptional legal representation across a range of practice areas,” said Michael Traister, managing partner of Murray Plumb & Murray.
Murray Plumb & Murray, founded in 1973, was ranked No. 11 among Maine’s largest law firms in a recent Mainebiz list.
