A new commercial and residential real estate brokerage started in Bath about a year ago and has grown over the past month.
Michael Atienza started Atienza Commercial & Residential Real Estate Brokers in January 2020 to serve commercial and residential owners, investors and tenants.
Since opening on his own, he said, the firm has completed $2.5 million in transactions in the midcoast region and Cumberland County.
Born and raised in Portland, he is a Cheverus High School graduate, holds an undergraduate degree in legal studies with Champlain College, and completed his first year of law school with the Massachusetts School of Law.
His previous career background includes holding the position of director of business development where he educated, mentored and trained associates on the principles of client relationships, strategic management and the value of being expeditious for client respect.
Atienza also owns and operates ACRE Property Development and Management, a property management and construction firm focused on property maintenance, residential rental units and real estate development, including renovation and construction.
Both companies are at 854 Washington St. in Bath.
A month ago, he hired an assistant administrator/agent recruiter and an in-house general counsel. More recently, he’s taken on two agents. Also on staff are a commercial real estate intern and a residential real estate intern.
Atienza is currently recruiting seasoned brokers. For more information, click here or contact Atienza at (207) 749-5179 or matienza@atienzarealestatebrokers.com.
