Maine Medical Center recently hired Susan Santangelo as director of psychiatric research. Santangelo, currently an associate professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, was previously with the Massachusetts General Hospital where she served as director of the statistical genetics and genetic epidemiology laboratory in the psychiatric and neurodevelopmental genetics unit, which is housed within the Center for Human Genetic Research.
