The Frances Perkins Center in Newcastle hired Amanda Hatch as deputy director. Previously, Hatch was chief program and impact officer at YWCA Central Maine.
Dead River Co., a propane and heating oil provider in South Portland, hired Sean Venden as vice president and general counsel. Venden most recently was senior director and corporate counsel for Covetrus.
Atlantic Federal Credit Union in South Portland hired Ashlee Goodwin as branch manager in Sanford. Goodwin was previously with Northeast Credit Union.
The Maine Arts Commission in Augusta hired Amy Hausmann as executive director. Hausmann, who is currently director of Olana State Historic Site in Hudson, N.Y., will join the organization in August.
SCORE Maine promoted Jonathan Trumper to state district director. Trumper was previously chapter chair in Southern Maine.
Dead River Co., a propane and heating oil provider in South Portland, promoted Tim Smith to director of risk management. Smith was previously general manager of Dunbar Water, a division of the company.
Franklin Savings Bank in Farmington promoted Mariah Labbe to consumer loan officer in Jay.
Wright-Ryan Construction in Portland promoted Alan Sparn to president. Sparn was previously chief operating officer.
PSL Services/STRIVE a nonprofit in South Portland promoted Peter Brown to executive director, effective in July 2025 when Lori Sanville, the current executive director, retires. Brown is currently associate director. In addition, Whitney Wildes was promoted to associate director. Wildes was STRIVE program director.
Portland Ovations promoted Katie Day to director of communications. Day was previously marketing manager.
Drummond Woodsum, a firm in Portland specializing in education law, promoted Isabel Ekman to practice group leader for the Maine School Law practice.
The American Heart Association in Maine in Portland announced that Dave Abel, president and general manager of Channel 8 WMTW and WPXT-Maine’s CW, Portland, has been named chair and Brendan Prast, Leadership in Preventative Medicine Fellow at MaineHealth, president of its board of directors. In addition, the association added Kevan Deckelmann, partner, Dentons Law Firm; Aline Iskandar, interventional cardiologist, Northern Light Mercy Hospital; Mindy Beyer, program manager, cardiovascular services, MaineHealth; Thomas Lyons, vice president of operations, MaineHealth; Alison Nason, director of marketing and operations, Mainebiz; and Steve Woods, president/CEO, TideSmart Global & Promerica Health, to its board.

LaCasse is an entrepreneur and investor in the food industry, Leopold owns a legal and compliance consulting firm serving professional service companies and investment firms and Wight is a restaurant owner.

The Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce announced its 2024 Imagine Portland award winners.
