The Maine Municipal Association in Augusta hired Peter Osborne as director of educational services. Osborne was most recently associate director of career exploration and pre-law advising at the Bates Center for Purposeful Work at Bates College in Lewiston.
Dirigo Labs, a startup accelerator in Waterville, hired Jake Conterato as projects and innovation network coordinator. Previously, Conterato was the project coordinator at Tortoise Labs, an incubator based in central Maine where entrepreneurs go from idea to working prototype.
Fontaine Family, an Auburn real estate firm, hired Michael Bourget in Auburn and Megan Bingman in Scarborough.
The Greater Bangor Convention and Visitors Bureau hired Gretchen Chauncey as executive director. Chauncey most recently served as general manager of the Terramor Outdoor Resort in Bar Harbor.
The U.S. Small Business Administration hired Tim Hobbs as deputy district director of the Maine District Office. Hobbs was previously state director for USDA Rural Development in Maine, where he oversaw various business and economic development programs.
Maine Realty Advisors in Portland hired Asher Chappell as vice president. Chappell previously co-founded and served as COO of Unified Parking Partners, a full-service parking management and leasing company.
PM Construction Co. in Saco hired Taylor Benay as marketing manager.
The Maine Municipal Association in Augusta promoted Alicia Gaudet to assistant director of educational services and conventions. Gaudet was previously manager of educational services.
Medical Mutual Insurance Co. of Maine in Portland promoted Holly Bulger to CFO. Bulger previously held the position of controller.

Thomas College in Waterville announced that its students won top awards in this year’s Society for the Advancement of Management International Business Conference. Jake Warn finished first place in the business pitch competition and the team consisting of George Dakin, Addison Landon, Gwyn Perlmutter and Abbey Violette finished second place in the written case study competition.
