The Saco resident has been an asset management group team member since 2015 and became a sustainable investing professional a year later. Before his promotion, Ouellette was the assistant vice president and investment officer.

"I have been with Norway Savings for 10 years and can’t speak highly enough of the culture here and the support I’ve felt throughout my career,” Ouellette told Mainebiz.

“I owe many thanks to my team, the bank, and to the many mentors who have helped guide me along the way,” he added. “This promotion is a direct reflection of the success of our entire team over the last number of years."

In 2023, Ouellette received his accredited fiduciary investment manager and chartered retirement planning counselor designations. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire.

“Jake continues to expand and pursue his education and increase his skill set at every opportunity and is currently working towards a certified financial planner designation,” said Dan Walsh, president and CEO of Norway Savings Bank.

Norway Savings Bank has 24 branches and was ranked No. 7 among the largest Maine-based banks, based on assets of $1.83 billion on June 30, 2024, according to the 2025 Mainebiz Book of Lists.
