Penobscots land economic development grant
The Penobscot Indian Nation has received a $35,000 federal grant to spur economic development efforts.
The grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration will be used to develop an economic development strategy to encourage private capital investment and create jobs, according to a press release.
