Saco-based PM Construction Co., a commercial construction firm, has named Tyler Ferguson its next CEO.
Ferguson will succeed Bill Nason, who has held the role since 2004 and will continue as chair of the company’s board of directors.
“Tyler has been a key part of our success, and I have no doubt that he will effectively lead our company into this new chapter,” said Nason.
The Saco-based construction management firm said it is well-prepared for the transition, following a multiple-year succession planning process.
Ferguson has extensive experience in the construction industry.
Since 2015, he has served as vice president of National Firestopping Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of PM Construction.
As a co-founder of NFS, Ferguson played a pivotal role in expanding business opportunities and developing project teams, contributing to the company’s growth along the East Coast, including at offices in Florida and North Carolina.
“I feel honored to be asked to carry the torch on behalf of such a great leader, mentor and friend,” said Ferguson. “Bill has done so much to help mold me into the person I am today.
"The best part about my job is the people I get to work with," he continued. "We have such an amazing team of talented people. They motivate and inspire me to come to work every day and give my best. I am excited about the future of both companies.”
In addition, Ferguson served as president of the Firestop Contractors International Association in 2023 and has been active on the FCIA board of directors since 2018.
Ferguson graduated from Unity College in Maine with a degree in forestry.
Founded in 1988, PM Construction manages projects across various sectors including multifamily and retail.
