Southworth International Group Inc., the Portland-based parent company of several manufacturers of ergonomic positioning equipment, has made four leadership promotions and organizational changes.
Ben Redfield has been promoted to the newly created role of chief revenue officer. Redfield joined Southworth in March 2023 as commercial director. In this new role, he draws on expertise in general management, strategic account management, and channel management to advance sales, support and marketing functions throughout the world.
Jon Robertson, who has served as chief commercial officer since May 2022, is being promoted to the newly created role of chief innovation officer. He will lead the development of an innovation engine at the company, including strategic market analysis, new product development and product management.
Matt Laufik has been promoted to sales director. He will be responsible for driving product brand sales and revenue growth across core channels. Laufik has over 15 years of experience in business development, channel partner sales leadership, and leadership of global sales and marketing.
Peter Foshay, of SIGI Americas, has been promoted to customer support and parts manager, where he leads a team responsible for assisting customers with after-sales and service needs.

The company started 126 years ago as a small printing company called Southworth Press, based in Portland. It now owns and operates subsidiaries in the United States, Mexico, Sweden, England, France, Germany and China.
