Portside Real Estate Group said its Pins For Cure event raised over $26,000 for the Maine Cancer Foundation.
The event was held April 25.
Pins For a Cure made its return after a five-year hiatus. Last held in 2019, it features a bowling tournament, bites and brews, a silent auction and a raffle for a Maine staycation.
“The partnership between Maine Cancer Foundation and Portside Real Estate Group combines our shared goals of stronger communities and a healthier tomorrow across Maine,” said Ray Ruby, Maine Cancer Foundation's executive director.
The $26,000 this year was the most ever raised at one single Portside Foundation event. “With this record-breaking Pins For a Cure event, their support of our work has surpassed $90,000 to date,” said Ruby.
Portside owner/founder Dava Davin added: “We are incredibly proud of the overwhelming response to Pins for a Cure and our support of the Maine Cancer Foundation.”
Portside’s community fundraising efforts will continue in September with Autumn Equinox at Maine Audubon.
Founded in 2012, Portside is a boutique real estate agency with offices in Portland, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Cape Elizabeth, Brunswick, Kennebunk and New Hampshire.
