Reveler, a real estate investment, development, construction and management company in Portland, has hired Erika Pettingill as director of human resources.
Pettingill brings over a decade of experience to the job, with a strong background in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors.
“What makes a company special is the people turning a vision into a reality, day in and day out,” said Pettingill. “It’s more than clear that Reveler’s commitment to fostering community is a point of pride both internally and externally.
"I am honored to join such a forward-thinking team and look forward to working with everyone at Reveler to create a supportive and thriving workplace.”
Most recently, she served as human resources director for the Salvation Army’s eastern territory.
Pettingill holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and two master’s degrees — one in organizational leadership and management and one in business administration — from Springfield College.
“At Reveler, we believe that leadership is rooted in active listening and creating a dynamic environment where talent has room to inspire and everyone feels valued and empowered,” said John Laliberte, CEO of Reveler.
“With a shared vision and commitment to each other's success, we’re poised to achieve even greater heights together.”
Reveler, founded as Tom Watson & Co. in 1993, has 2,000 housing units in Greater Portland and Wilmington, N.C., and another 2,000 in construction or planning.
The company's Maine projects include a mixed-use property called the Armature in Portland’s West Bayside neighborhood, a historic rehabilitation at Riverdam in Biddeford and four developments together called the Levee in Biddeford.
