Redfern proposes apartment building in Portland

Jonathan Culley of Redfern Properties is seeking a zoning change from the city of Portland as part of a proposal to build a 132-unit apartment building on Congress Street.

The Portland Press Herald reported that Culley, who has several other residential projects in development in Portland, submitted an application for the zoning change on Tuesday for the estimated $20 million project.

The proposed project would be located near Longfellow Square, the newspaper reported.
