Sebago Technics, an employee-owned engineering firm based in South Portland, has promoted five employees from within its survey-geomatics team.
Nick Elliston was elevated to director of survey-geomatics services.
With more than a decade of experience, Elliston since joined Sebago as part of the 2021 Titcomb Associates acquisition. Most recently, Elliston has led all of Sebago’s transportation-related survey-geomatics projects with Maine DOT and similar agencies while managing several other survey-related projects.
Jediah Scott has been promoted to professional land surveyor and project surveyor. With nine years of experience, he has been involved in surveying, resolving boundaries, engaging and managing clients, performing business development roles, producing proposals and assisting in overall survey project business management. He also recently passed the state professional land surveyor licensing process.
Michael Celeste has been promoted to lead virtual design and construction field services. Celeste has led work in all of Sebago’s survey services areas, including some of the most complex survey projects. He has mentored and taught new team members and become an FAA Part 107 sUAS drone pilot, adding more capacity to Sebago’s overall geomatics projects. He will be responsible for leading the field data capture of HDS/scanning projects and the associated office work to process and register that information.
Brian Cook and Oscar Keydel have been promoted to leads on the survey-geomatics field team. In this role, they will coordinate project fieldwork, scheduling and resource management for their respective field personnel teams. Their new positions allow them to share scheduling duties for Sebago’s South Portland office, creating a more responsive survey team.
Sebago Technics is a collective of more than 110 design professionals and technical staff in offices located in South Portland, Bridgton and Springvale. Services include geomatics, surveying, landscape architecture, 3-D modeling, environmental sciences, permitting, land planning, transportation and traffic engineering.
Sebago Technics is ranked No. 18 among Maine’s largest ESOPs in the new 2024 Mainebiz Book of Lists, based on the firm's number of Maine-licensed engineers, 110.
