Skelton Law Offices to merge with Rudman Winchell
The Bangor-based Skelton Law Offices will merge with the firm Rudman Winchell Jan. 1, when it will begin operating as The Maine Elder Law Firm, a practice of Rudman Winchell.
Rudman Winchell announced in a press release that Jane Skelton, founder of Skelton Law Offices, will become a partner at the Bangor firm where she started her legal career around 25 years ago. Skelton will continue operating at 33 Mildred Ave. in Bangor.
The 30-attorney Rudman Winchell said the merger allows it to expand its offerings in the area of elder law.
