The University of Maine at Augusta has named Erin Fogg as vice president of advancement and alumni relations.
Fogg will guide fundraising efforts, donor relations and alumni engagement, while overseeing development campaigns and supporting sustainable growth.
Her first day at UMA will be July 8.
“We are thrilled that Erin Fogg will be joining our leadership team,” says Jenifer Cushman, president of UMA. “UMA is looking forward to re-engaging our many alumni across the state and building a solid financial foundation for the future.”
Fogg has more than 20 years of experience in the development field, including roles at Jackson Laboratory and with Friends of Acadia. She has directed annual, major, corporate, foundation and planned giving and managed all aspects of donor stewardship and fundraising operations.
Most recently, Fogg served as the vice president of development and communications at Good Shepherd Food Bank, Maine’s largest hunger relief organization.
Fogg earned her MBA at Husson University and her bachelor’s degree in communications at Elizabethtown College.
UMA is No. 11 among Maine’s largest colleges and universities, according to the 2024 Mainebiz Book of Lists. That ranking was determined by full-time undergraduate enrollment as of fall 2023, when UMA had 1,289 full-time students.
Established in 1968, the University of Maine System comprises Maine’s seven public universities, including 10 campuses and numerous satellite locations. The system serves more than 30,000 students annually and has over 5,000 faculty and staff.
