In its annual holiday party survey report, the executive coaching firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc. said 64% of companies plan some kind of holiday celebration.
But 17% said they plan to reduce party expenditures from last year. And 4.5% expect to do a virtual holiday party, up from 3.9% a year ago.
More than half, 56%, of companies say they "always" do a holiday party, regardless of the economy.
