To have a drug invented, tested, FDA approved, and over half a million doses delivered in Maine alone in a timeframe of one year...a huge thank you to those in charge to fast track this process for the greater good!

I think the program has rolled out quite smoothly. I am pleased that everyone who wants the vaccine will soon be able to get it, but I hope that it is never forced on anyone. It should remain a choice. I have had my first vaccine, waiting for my second.

I’m so happy with Maine’s science-based approach to dealing with this pandemic. We’ve had one of the lowest per capita death rates despite having the nation’s oldest population. I’d love to see us also lead the nation in percentage of supply of vaccine used; we have been very high at times, we’re #9 right now at 88%, well above the national average of 81%, per the Bloomberg Vaccine Tracker.

As a retired physician who remembers getting polio and smallpox and DPT vaccinations as a child and who appreciates the advances in biology and medicine and computers during my lifetime, I have no worries about the current Covid vaccines. I have gotten two Moderna injections and would have gladly gotten the Pfizer or J&J shots. Would anyone turn down the opportunity to get an Ebola vaccine if that disease were a concern in the USA?

I refuse to take the Moderna or Pfizer jabs due to the potential for long-term side effects. Moderna calls their jab an operating syste - it's being called a vac to provide liability protection - same for Pzifer's jab.
