Vaccinations for COVID-19 are a focus of public attention in Maine, as availability of the potentially lifesaving medications becomes more and more widespread. Mass vaccination sites began opening two months ago, in Scarborough and Bangor, and many clinics, pharmacies and other sites are now inoculating Mainers. The timetable for administering vaccines has also been speeding up.
By Sunday, more than 584,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine had been administered in Maine, according to the office of Gov. Janet Mills. Roughly 220,000 Mainers have received their final dose of a vaccine.

I CAN"T WAIT....I trust the science. I wonder if the few who are waiting for 'perfection' give anywhere near the same scrutiny to the other parts of their life. It's one thing for the media to give bad data, its another when those conspiracies kill people.
I am about to get my first shot. I don't want it but they are making it very hard to do anything without it. Papers, please.
I had my Moderna shots at Newport. Very well organized and friendly. Our local area is doing an excellent job getting people vaccinated.
I am so proud of Maine, and admire the systems set up to help get people vaccinated.

I recently had my first vaccine at Scarborough Downs. Very impressed at how streamlined and organized the process was. Many thanks to the hundreds of workers and volunteers who made it all happen.
