Significant professional accomplishment: I’ve helped to form and build the great team I have around me while enjoying what I do for work and growing in my career over the past 19 years.
Passion project: I have been a member of the Houlton Rotary Club since 2014 and was president during the 2020-21 Rotary year. I’ve enjoyed participating in the various events that we have held, as well as contributing towards local and global projects and meeting the wonderful Rotarians committed to service above self. I’m also passionate about ice hockey, which I played growing up. I have helped coach some of our local teams, and it really brought me joy to watch these kids grow and improve their skills throughout the season. I look forward to teaching my own kids as they get older.
Audacious goal: To raise good and happy humans who are loved, unconditionally!
Favorite quote: “People waste their time pondering whether a glass is half empty or half full. Me, I just drink whatever’s in the glass.” — Sophia Petrillo, “The Golden Girls”
Influential book: “Think Like a Monk,” by Jay Shetty
Favorite TV shows: Any documentaries or how-to videos on YouTube, “Workin’ Moms” and “Law & Order”
How do you recharge: I disconnect from technology and head out into nature to go hiking and camping.
