Atlantic Federal Credit Union, Maine's largest credit union, has hired Ashlee Goodwin as branch manager of its Sanford location at 1516 Main St.
Goodwin brings over 15 years years of finance experience to her new role. She joined Atlantic after a 12-year career at Northeast Credit Union, where she held various roles, including business development officer, underwriter and branch assistant manager.
"We are delighted to welcome Ashlee Goodwin as the new branch manager of our Sanford branch,” said Jenn Benn, vice president of member experience at Atlantic.
“Her extensive experience in financial services and dedication to member satisfaction make her a perfect fit for our team," she continued. "We are confident that her leadership will bring exceptional value to our members and support our mission of helping people do better.”
In addition to her professional achievements, Goodwin is involved in her local community. She is an active member of Marshwood High School Football Boosters and regularly volunteers with Community Action Partners and a local soup kitchen.
"Joining Atlantic is an opportunity to grow, contribute and collaborate with such a talented team,” said Goodwin. “I am excited about the journey ahead and eager to see what we can achieve together.”
Goodwin received her bachelor’s degree from Granite State College.
Atlantic has branches in Biddeford, Brunswick, Cumberland, Freeport, Saco, Sanford, South Sanford, Topsham, Westbrook, and York.
The newest location, at the Payne and Ginn roads in Scarborough, is slated to open in 2025.
With more than $1.1 billion in Maine deposits as of Sept. 30, 2023, Atlantic FCU topped the list of the largest Maine-based credit unions, according to the 2024 Mainebiz Book of Lists.
