Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has promoted Morgan Forni to assistant vice president, branch relationship manager.
In her new role, Forni leads teams of banking professionals at the bank's Northeast Harbor and Southwest Harbor branches, to provide financial solutions and guidance for individuals, families and businesses on Mount Desert Island.
Forni has four years of experience in retail banking. She joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in 2020 as a customer service representative and was promoted to assistant branch manager in 2021. The next year, she was promoted to branch relationship manager of the Southwest Harbor location.
“I'm enjoying the new challenge and am excited about the opportunity to support the residents and businesses of Northeast Harbor,” said Forni.
The Mount Desert Island resident graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marine science from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla. She earned an MBA with a concentration in leadership from Southern New Hampshire University.
She also earned several certificates through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, including coaching and mentoring, leading and managing, and supply chain management.
Forni is an active volunteer in her community. She is an Olympia leader advisor through the Olympia Snowe Women's Leadership Institute and a Junior Achievement of Maine volunteer. She also volunteers at several annual events across Mount Desert Island.
