Bar Harbor Wealth Management, a subsidiary of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, has hired Suzanne Moffatt as senior vice president, senior wealth manager.
In this role, the firm said in a news release, she will provide individuals with tools to achieve their retirement and estate planning goals. She will also work with companies as they set up retirement plans for employees.
“Suzanne is an outstanding fit with our mission,” said Jason Edgar, president of Bar Harbor Wealth Management. “We are focused on having knowledgeable, experienced, and credentialed employees to serve our clients’ needs.
"In wealth management, there is no substitute for an experienced professional who has provided quality advice and service throughout their career.”
Moffatt has 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, including work in wealth management. She served as a trust officer at Fleet Bank and later became vice president and trust officer at Merrill Bank.
For the past 18 years, she served as a senior vice president, relationship manager and trust officer at Bangor Savings Bank.
Moffatt earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management and a master’s degree from Husson University. She is a Cannon School graduate with designations as a certified retirement service professional and accredited fiduciary investment manager.
The Gorham resident is active in her community and currently serves as treasurer for her local Lions Club.
