Bath Savings Institution has elected to its board a financial services expert who recently retired after more than three decades with BerryDunn.
Janice Latulippe, of Freeport, will contribute to the oversight of the bank's performance and objectives as a member of the board of trustees.
Over a career that spanned 34 years, she served as a principal and leader of BerryDunn's financial services practice group and was a past member of the firm's management committee.
Throughout her career, Latulippe provided assurance and consulting services to banks and other financial service providers throughout New England.
She now also volunteers on the board of Freeport Community Services and the Go Red Committee for the American Heart Association.
"We are thrilled to welcome Janice Latulippe to Bath Savings' board of trustees," said President and CEO Glenn Hutchinson. "Her extensive financial background, community involvement, and commitment to our region will be an asset to our organization."
Bath Savings has been banking on the coast of Maine for 170 years. Ten full-service banking offices are located from Damariscotta to South Portland. Bath Savings was ranked No. 16 in the 2023 Mainebiz Book of Lists, ranked by Maine deposits as of June 30, 2022. It also ranked No. 12 among the largest Maine-based banks in the 2022 Mainebiz Book of Lists, ranked by total assets as of June 30, 2022.
