Car dealership on the auction block

All that's left of the Dave Gould Ford dealership in Ellsworth -- from engine stands to tools -- will be auctioned off this weekend by Bangor Savings Bank.
The bank began the process of foreclosure soon after Ford Motor Credit Co., which provided capital and inventory for the Ellsworth car dealer, filed a lawsuit last September claiming Gould owed it more than $2 million, the Ellsworth American reported.
The Secretary of State's Office said last January that the dealership had committed more than 150 acts of fraud against its customers, the paper reported. Gould closed in April, and the property is for sale.
