Darling's inks Bangor naming rights deal
Bangor-based Darling's auto dealership has purchased the naming rights for the city's new waterfront concert venue for an undisclosed price.
On Monday, the car dealer announced the naming deal for the new home of Bangor's Waterfront Concert Series, which is under construction. The series has attracted more than 200,000 concertgoers during 40 shows in its first three years, according to a press release.
The Darlings Waterfront Pavilion is expected to be finished by June when it will host Sting as the venue's first show of the summer. Country musician Darius Rucker is expected to headline the second show.
