Franklin Savings Bank, with eight branches stretching from the western mountains to Downeast, has promoted from within to fill the position of branch manager at the Skowhegan branch.
In this position, Sherri Lewis will continue to provide exceptional service to the bank's customers while leading her team to success. She has been a part of the Franklin Savings team for nearly 20 years.
“Sherri is a wealth of banking knowledge,” said Morgan Cote, senior vice president, director of branch administration and deposit services. “She has proven herself to be a valuable asset to our organization. Her kind and compassionate nature has earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and community.”
Lewis, an assistant vice president, joined Franklin Savings in 2004 as a customer service representative. 2017 she was promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager.
Throughout her career, Lewis has dedicated herself to the Skowhegan and Norridgewock communities through volunteer work. She’s served on a variety of nonprofit and town boards or committees.
Franklin Savings Bank, which is based in Farmington, is a community bank founded in 1868 which serves Maine’s western, central, and Downeast regions of Maine from eight locations.
Its offices are in Ellsworth, Farmington, Jay, Mt. Blue High School, Rangeley, Rumford, Skowhegan and Wilton.
Franklin Savings was ranked No. 18 among the largest Maine-based banks in the 2023 Mainebiz Book of Lists, based on assets as of June 30, 2022.
