Frontier Airlines announced today that it will offer seasonal nonstop service from the Portland International Jetport to the Gulf Coast of Florida, serving both Fort Myers and Tampa, starting Nov. 15.
Frontier Airlines started service at PWM on July 10 with service to Raleigh/Durham, N.C., and Denver, Colo. Nonstop service to Orlando starts Aug. 12.
“Frontier Airlines has been a great addition to our airline lineup” said Portland Jetport Director Paul Bradbury. “We are pleased to see Frontier invest more into the Portland market and believe that both Tampa and Fort Myers will be popular amongst our travelers.”
Flights from Fort Myers will depart at 11:55 a.m. and arrive at Portland at 3:10 p.m., while flights to Fort Myers from Portland will depart at 4 p.m. and arrive at 7:45 p.m. The seasonal flights on Mondays and Fridays will begin on Nov. 16.
Flights from Tampa will depart at 6:08 a.m. and arrive at Portland at 9:14 a.m., while flights from Portland to Tampa will depart at 10:05 a.m. and arrive at 1:35 p.m.. The seasonal flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays will begin on Nov. 15.
