Portside Real Estate Group, a real estate agency headquartered in Falmouth, continues to expand with the acquisition of Green Tree Realty in Portland.
“Portside offers tremendous opportunity for growth for myself and fellow Green Tree agents,” Veronica Schneider, broker-owner of Green Tree Realty, said in a news release.
She added, “I’m looking forward to being able to lend my own expertise as well as dedicate more time to my clients.”
Green Tree was founded 17 years ago.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Schneider and four other Green Tree agents — Ed Mosher, Shawn Boulet, Anne Daigle and Lynne Demers — will transition to Portside as the Green Tree Team.
“We’ve always been inspired by Veronica’s hardworking and strategic demeanor, her outstanding expertise in managing complex multi-unit transactions and her ability to effortlessly navigate lakefront sales is nothing short of impressive,” said Dava Davin, Portside’s owner and founder and a 2018 Mainebiz Women to Watch honoree.
Davin said it’s expected that Green Tree will bring deep connections in the investment world and the Portland area to Portside. She added, “We’re confident that her valuable skills and experience will take our organization to new heights.”
Founded in 2012, Portside Real Estate Group has locations in Portland, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Brunswick, Cape Elizabeth and Kennebunk, as well as Portsmouth, N.H.
