Bangor-based engineering firm Haley Ward Inc. has made its fourth acquisition in the past year.
The engineering firm said that it acquired Final Draft CAD LLC, a building information modeling (BIM) firm based in Portland.
"We believe this acquisition will provide numerous benefits to our customers and employees and we look forward to a bright future together,” said Daniel Welch, who is president of Final Draft CAD.
The acquisition of the Portland firm will expand the Haley Ward presence in southern Maine. During the transition, the firm will be known to its clients as Final Draft CAD, a division of Haley Ward.
“Much of our growth over the past few years has come from acquiring firms that provide exceptional, client-focused services that add depth to our team of experts,” said Denis St. Peter, president and CEO of Haley Ward. "Final Draft CAD is no exception. Their specialized services are complementary to our existing Building Design Service Line and will provide greater value to clients and expand opportunities to employees.”
Final Draft offers various BIM and computer-aided services, including BIM management and coordination, modeling, drafting, and laser scanning.
Haley Ward has made a series of acquisitions aimed at adding lines of expertise or expanding its footprint.
Haley Ward is an employee-owned professional engineering, environmental, and surveying consulting firm with approximately 200 employees in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Florida.
