Bath-based Harris Golf added a 10th golf course to its management portfolio earlier this month with the sale of the Boothbay Country Club to Southport philanthropist Paul Coulombe.
The price of the sale was not immediately disclosed.
Harris and Coulombe have entered a management agreement for the course that fell into foreclosure under the ownership of Boothbay Country Club LLC earlier this year.
Harris Golf now owns six courses, including the Bath Golf Club that it bought out of a foreclosure sale last year, and manages four others.
Harris previously owned and managed the Boothbay course, which it sold to Boothbay Country Club LLC in 2008.
Matt Barnard, a Harris spokesman, said the company plans to make the club semi-private and is working with the Knickerbocker Group, with offices in Boothbay and Portland, to make improvements to the course.
