Katahdin Trust opens Bangor branch
Katahdin Trust Co. has expanded its presence in the Bangor area with the opening of its newest branch. The Houlton-based bank last year announced its plan to open a new branch in the Queen City.
The new location in the Christmas Tree Shops Plaza opened yesterday and includes a retail banking operation and a loan production office, according to the Bangor Daily News. Loan operations relocated from an office on Stillwater Avenue, which the bank opened in 2008. It already operates a retail banking office on Broadway and another in nearby Hampden.
The bank has 17 locations and nearly $560 million in assets.
