Rinck Advertising, a marketing, advertising and public relations agency headquartered in Lewiston, has hired a new public relations manager.
In this new role, Janelle LoSciuto will manage brand strategy, media relations, thought leadership, content development and crisis communications for clients in biotechnology, consumer goods and health care.
LoSciuto was the founder and owner of VIBRANT Communication Strategies in Westbrook. She was formerly the executive director of the Arts & Cultural Alliance of Freeport, where she led the board in the nonprofit's capital campaign for a new center for the arts in Freeport.
“As someone who has both owned her own business and worked in the nonprofit industry, Janelle is accustomed to being a ‘jack of all trades,’ which is a critical skill in the agency world,” said Katie Greenlaw, vice president of public relations. “She has leapt into learning about our clients and their industries, and we’re excited to see how she will help them build their brands.”
During a seven-year tenure with the March of Dimes, LoSciuto was interim executive director, senior director of development and community director at the Maine chapter of the March of Dimes.
She was also the director of development for the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement.
LoSciuto earned a bachelor’s degree in music performance from the University of Southern Maine and has a master’s degree in arts, entertainment and media management from Full Sail University in Florida.
Founded in 2001, Rinck is headquartered in Maine, with remote locations across the U.S. The firm provides brand-building, creative services, media planning and buying, digital strategy, influencer marketing and content marketing.
