Better Homes & Gardens Masiello Group is looking to ramp up its marketing presence with the recent hire of a director of market development and a new campaign.
The hire of Britt Brown as director of market development is part of the firm’s goal to accelerate its market presence.
Brown’s mission includes driving growth, optimizing lead conversion processes and enhancing agent productivity, according to a news release.
Previously, Brown served as the relocation director at Portside Real Estate Group. There, she launched a company-generated leads program and increased inbound leads.
In her new role, the focus will be on driving increased conversion of web- and company-generated leads. She will collaborate with regional sales leadership and the business development/relocation team to train and coach agents, optimizing the lead conversion process.
Her role is considered crucial in developing and implementing strategies to maximize the effectiveness of the company’s lead pipeline and to enhance sales productivity.
"Her innovative approach and proven track record in market development will be instrumental in driving our strategic growth and enhancing our competitive edge,” said Joanne Goguen, the company’s CEO and president.
Brown holds a BA in technical and professional writing from the University of Maine, where she graduated magna cum laude. Her professional background includes relationship management, business development, project management and social media marketing.
The company new campaign features the tagline: “Nobody knows homes better. We know New England.”
The tagline combines the brand's overarching message, "Nobody knows homes better," with the firm’s personalized addition, "We know New England," with the goal of showcasing its expertise in the northern New England region, according to a separate news release.
"By merging 'We know New England' with our trusted tagline, we emphasize our unique local insights and our passion for serving our community,” said Cara Tachibana, the company’s chief marketing officer.
The plan is to trademark the tagline.
Established in 1966, the Masiello Group is a second-generation family business. Chairman Chris Masiello has over 35 years of experience in real estate.
With more than 25 offices across northern New England, the company said it is the largest residential real estate firm north of Boston.
In addition to real estate services, it offers home services, including mortgage, title, home warranty and relocation assistance. In 2023, it was named a top 25 Broker by Anywhere Leads Network.
