Northern Light Mercy Hospital has added a new primary care physician to its Windham branch.
Anthony Pastore joins Northern Light Primary Care after completing his family medicine residency at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. In addition to family medicine, he has a passion for geriatric medicine and palliative care.
“I find family medicine incredibly rewarding,” said Pastore. “I am honored to have the opportunity to care for multiple generations at every stage of life. I believe that care is most meaningful when there is a strong relationship between patients and providers, and I look forward to getting to know each patient and help them achieve their best possible health.”
Pastore is a member of the American Geriatrics Society, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Family Medicine Education Consortium.
The southern Maine native earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Northern Light Mercy Hospital is ranked No. 6 in the 2023 Mainebiz Book of Lists, with 1,470 employees and $579 million in revenue in 2000, the most recent year data was available.
