Norway Savings Bank has hired a new assistant vice president and trust officer who holds a law degree and is also a CPA.
Douglas Gross will be responsible for building and growing relationships with clients by helping them reach their financial goals. He will also be the primary contact for investment management and trust clients, applying his knowledge of personal financial management and tax law.
Prior to accepting this position, Gross was a tax practitioner for a public accounting firm in New Hampshire from 1997-2007, and became a CPA in 2001.
He also worked in the wealth management division of a community bank in New Hampshire from 2007-2021. In 2021, he decided to relocate to Maine to be closer to his family.
“Doug’s extensive financial planning background and outstanding customer service skills make him a great fit for the Asset Management Group,” said Jennifer Cook, SVP, Head of Trust & Wealth Management.
He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in history. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law in 1992.
