Norway Savings Bank has promoted from within for the position of personal banker at the Windham branch.
Elizabeth Gemme will be responsible for developing and enhancing new and current banking relationships for business and personal customers in the Windham market.
“I’m excited to join the growing Windham community and assist in developing local businesses. I have a special appreciation for small business owners, having watched my father run our family business,” said Gemme.
Gemme joined the bank in 2017 as a customer relations representative at the Naples branch, where she learned about opening personal and business accounts and cultivating customer relationships.
As an active member of the community, Gemme organizes food drives at a local elementary school, volunteers at public dinners, participates in Lake Region Rotary events and teaches Junior Achievement.
