Falmouth-based Portside Real Estate Group said its 6th annual Autumn Equinox at Maine Audubon event raised $22,300 for Maine Audubon.
The event was held at Maine Audubon’s Gilsland Farm campus in Falmouth on Sept. 21. The family-friendly event featured local food trucks such as PB+ME, Cargo Pizza and the Marshmallow Cart. There was live music from wife-and-husband duo This or Better and the L.L.Bean Boot mobile unit and Wyman’s Bee-Wild mobile booth made appearances.
There was record-breaking attendance of over 400 people. The amount was the most ever raised by Portside for Maine Audubon’s educational programs.
All proceeds will go directly to Maine Audubon with a large majority of the money being used to increase Maine Audubon’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, to expand its environmental education and literacy programming to new demographics.
Founded in 2012, Portside Real Estate Group is a boutique real estate agency with offices in Portland, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Cape Elizabeth, Brunswick, Kennebunk and New Hampshire.
