Sebago Technics beefs up project delivery team with several promotions

Sebago Technics, an employee-owned engineering firm based in South Portland, has promoted eight employees from within its project delivery team. 

Caitlyn Abbott is the new director of project delivery. She began as the project delivery coordinator in 2021, and has since broadened her team engagement and responsibilities Abbott has managed several projects; she is now responsible for overall team management, resource allocation, team development and project delivery. 

Henry Hess, Aaron Hunter and Chris Tyler have each been promoted to project manager positions. In the project manager role, they will be responsible for the development, budget, schedule and approval of projects while maintaining strong relationships and communications with clients and regulators.

Paul Ostrowski and Brandon Blake have been promoted to project delivery engineering and design managers. They will be responsible for technical training, mentorship and critical thinking. They will also be responsible for developing and overseeing future project managers and project delivery team leaders for the company, hiring new team members, coordinating project inspections and prioritizing deadlines. 

Both Ostrowski and Blake will continue to serve as design leads on significant projects, responsible for client and regulatory coordination and helping with production when needed. 

Kendra Ramsell and Matt Orr have been elevated to team leads. Ramsell's role will expand, while Orr is a new team lead. They will both work with design managers and oversee a design team comprising civil engineers, landscape architects and designers. 

Sebago Technics is a collective of more than 110 design professionals and technical staff in offices located in South Portland, Bridgton and Springvale. Services include geomatics, surveying, landscape architecture, 3-D modeling, environmental sciences, permitting, land planning, transportation and traffic engineering. 

Sebago Technics is ranked No. 7 among Maine’s largest engineering firms in the 2023 Mainebiz Book of Lists, based on the number of Maine-based engineers.
