Skowhegan Savings Bank has hired Michael Pietroski as a vice president and commercial lender.
Pietroski will be based out of the bank’s Augusta branch. In his new role, he will assist business customers in the greater Kennebec County region with their banking needs.
"I am excited to join a bank committed to building long-term relationships and providing an exceptional experience for customers," said Pietroski. “I look forward to helping local businesses with their financing needs in a manner that will help them grow.”
Pietroski has over 12 years of experience in business lending and customer service in the financial sector. He previously held positions at Kennebec Savings Bank, Camden National Bank, KeyBank and TD Bank.
The Augusta native received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Husson University. He is a board member of the Auburn Business Association, a recent Kennebec Leadership Institute 2.0 graduate and a volunteer for the Special Olympics.
“Mike is an experienced commercial lender, who is passionate about helping his customers achieve their financial goals,” said Steve Thomas, senior vice president and senior commercial lender. “His addition will enhance our team's commitment to offering outstanding personalized service and hands-on support to local businesses.”
Skowhegan Savings is ranked No. 17 among the largest Maine-based banks in the 2025 Mainebiz Book of Lists, based on $880.8 million in assets as of June 30, 2024.
