Spinnaker Trust, a Portland-based wealth management firm, has hired Scott Stefanowicz as director of portfolio management and trading.
In his new role, Stefanowicz will oversee various critical responsibilities, including managing portfolio managers, liaising with trading partners and ensuring the optimal use of trading and portfolio management software.
"Spinnaker Trust has a stellar reputation and I’m thrilled to play a part in helping our clients achieve their financial goals," Stefanowicz told Mainebiz.
Stefanowicz brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role. He most recently served as the portfolio manager at Key Private Bank.
Prior to his time at Key Private Bank, Stefanowicz was head trader at HM Payson for eight years. He has also held roles at the Colony Group and Corporate Actions Operations.

A native of Massachusetts, Stefanowicz received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Clemson University.
