If you’re looking for a new line of business, are handy with a camera, and aren’t averse to heights, this may be the opportunity you’ve been seeking.
TimberStone Adventures Inc. is giving away a treehouse resort in Stoneham to the winner of a national photography contest, but entries are due tomorrow.
The grand prize winner will get the entire mountaintop resort, which features three luxury treehouses, a five-story wooden “Castle Tower,” an 18-hole disc golf course, 56 acres bordering the White Mountain National Forest, a sawmill, hiking trails and more. There’s also $25,000 thrown into the prize jackpot.
Ten runners-up will each receive $1,000.
The reason for the giveaway isn't clear, and attempts to learn more from Timberstone weren't successful.
Photos will be judged on the basis of subject matter, storytelling, impact, composition and creativity, according to the contest rules. Entries are due by 11:59 p.m. Friday, and there’s a $99 entry fee.
Winners will be announced Dec. 1. For more information, click here.
