The County Federal Credit Union has promoted Dustin Graham, former Caribou branch manager, to retail services manager of the northern region.
Graham started in May 2019 at the bank as a mortgage loan officer and consumer lender for the Caribou location. In August 2022, he was promoted to branch manager there and is now a part of the leadership team.
“Not only am I excited to grow as a leader in our credit union, but I am also thrilled to be given the opportunity to serve our members and teammates in a larger capacity,” said Graham. “‘People helping people’ is a credit union philosophy that I believe in and live by. It gives me the ambition to lead and serve throughout our institution.
"I am honored to be employed by the County Federal Credit Union, and I look forward to contributing to the organization in this new role.”
During the Maine Credit Union League annual conference this spring, Graham was the first-ever recipient of the John G. Murphy Rising Star Award.
Prior to joining the County FCU, Graham held various roles at MMG Insurance.
He received a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maine and MBA in risk management from Husson University. He is also closely involved in his community, serving on several local boards and steering committees.
“Dustin is a true professional, and we’re pleased to watch him succeed in each of the roles he’s served at the County,” said COO James Mattila. “He is strongly committed to his team and has an innate skill of elevating the people around him. As a leader of multiple branches, we’re confident that Dustin will use those skills to create the best member experience possible for each community we serve in our northern region.”
The County FCU serves Aroostook, Penobscot and Piscataquis counties with branches in Caribou, Presque Isle, Fort Fairfield, Mars Hill, Houlton, Howland, Old Town and Bangor.
The County FCU has $459.3 million in total deposits and ranks No. 7 among the largest Maine-based credit unions, based on deposits as of Sept. 30, 2023, according to the 2024 Mainebiz Book of Lists.
