Aroma Joe’s has opened a coffee shop in Turner, at 60 Auburn Road, the South Portland-based chain's first location in the Androscoggin County town.
The 1,000-square-foot shop, which serves both walk-up and drive-through customers, features coffee, espresso, energy drinks, soft drinks and food options.
The branch is owned and operated by Turner natives Wendy and Bob Levesque, who are first-time Aroma Joe’s franchisees.
“As life-long members of the Turner community, it is so meaningful to become business owners here through Aroma Joe’s,” said Wendy Levesque. “We can’t wait to see all the happy faces that drive through and we hope they come to rely on our great service and superior beverages and food. ”
The Turner coffee shop is one of several sites opened this year. Last week, the franchise announced it had opened a location in Kittery at 523 U.S. Route 1, the brand's second site in the popular shopping area.
Aroma Joe’s recently celebrated the opening of its milestone 100th location, in Waterbury, Conn. Of the roughly 4,200 franchise brands are in the U.S., only 16% have 100 locations or more.
Besides Maine, Aroma Joe's is in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Florida, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York, with plans to open shops in other eastern states. The brand has been around since 2000.
Aroma Joe's is a great franchise with an amazing entrepreneurial leadership team. Congrats to an amazing organization!
