Pulse Marketing Agency, the digital marketing arm for the Bangor Daily News, has hired a senior account manager and promoted a person from within the company to senior account manager.
The strategic positions will help the agency expand its marketing offerings across the state.
As a senior account manager, Julienne Bulley will assist the team in a hybrid sales/marketing role and help research and pursue high-level sales opportunities. She will also serve as the primary point of contact for multiple businesses throughout Maine.
Bulley brings over 20 years of hospitality and customer service experience. She said she was drawn to the Pulse team because of the culture. “Everyone that I spoke to had amazing energy and it really matched what I was looking for in my career.”
The New Hampshire native received her bachelor's in communications from the University of New Hampshire.
In her new role, Amanda Millay will focus on managing key clients, developing marketing strategies and mentoring team members. She began her career with Pulse Marketing Agency in 2020 as a marketing and design specialist. She has more than 10 years of marketing experience.
“I’m a Mainer,” said Millay. “I care about my community and, as a young professional, I think this region is a great place to live, work and play. That’s why I chose to go into marketing and why I always had a passion for giving back and making a difference in my community.
"We’re located in downtown Bangor and it brings me joy to work with small and large businesses here and all around the country to help them grow.”
The Presque Isle native graduated from the New England School of Communications at Husson University with a degree in communications.
She is active in multiple local organizations, including the Bangor Region Leadership Institute Class of 2023, FUSION: Bangor’s Steering and Events committees, the Downtown Bangor Partnership Marketing Committee, and the Husson University College of Business advisory board for marketing and graphic/visual design.
Pulse Marketing Agency, the digital marketing arm for the Bangor-area daily newspaper, is a full-service agency serving clients in Maine and across North America.
