Lynch Logistics Inc., a Bangor logistics company, has appointed Joe Marriner as a business development executive.
In this role, he will work closely with clients to offer them innovative solutions that reduce costs, improve efficiency and enhance business satisfaction.
"My role in business development allows me to be constantly getting to know new customers and help find creative solutions to their needs," said Marriner. "It’s perfect for me because at the end of the day my success is directly tied to our customers success, I can go home at the end of the day feeling like I won because everyone around me won. We get to support our families and the families of the local companies that we help succeed every day."
In 2021, Marriner graduated from Maine Maritime Academy, earning a degree in international business and logistics from the the Castine school's Loeb-Sullivan School of Business.
After graduating, he began his career with PepsiCo, where he worked in various aspects of the business, including as a delivery supervisor and as a sales associate. During his time in these positions, he gained experience in sales, marketing, transportation and warehousing.
Marriner’s dedication and experience earned him a direct transportation management role, overseeing a team of more than 35 drivers servicing much of New Hampshire. In this role, he further advanced his leadership, customer service and management skills.
