Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has hired Eliberta Cummings as assistant vice president and branch relationship manager, for its South China location at 368 U.S. Route 3.
Cummings will lead a team providing service to retail and commercial customers in South China and surrounding towns. The Gardiner resident is also a state of Maine notary public.
"I am very passionate about banking and eager to continue learning and growing my skills," Cummings told Mainebiz. "I'm also excited to work with our customers in South China and look forward to growing our relationships in the community."
Cummings has five years of banking experience. She started her career in 2019 as a loan manager at Capital Area Federal Credit Union.
She is also active in her community, volunteering for the Maine Special Olympics and Ending Hunger Corps.
